The American Journal of Psychology recently published an interesting study on the mechanism of Viagra and other drugs for erectile dysfunction. Viagra (Sildenafil) not only increases blood circulation but also act hormonally (on oxytocin) to enhance sexual pleasure. Oxytocin is not only secreted during childbirth and lactation but also secreted during orgasm in both men and women.

The New England Journal of Medicine published a curious study after a survey on the sexual habits of 3,000 seniors. According to the survey, 75% of 57-64 old people had sex in the preceding year. 53% of 65-74 age group people had sex in the preceding year while only 26% of 75-85 age group people had sex in the preceding year.
